Rancho De Tia Rosa - Mesa

Got there right after they opened. We got great service. Everything came out as we were ready. Drinks with chips and salsa. Both red a kind of sweet green salsas were both fresh. Then our very cheesy cheese crisp came out with a delicious fundito. We had plenty of time to enjoy all that before our entrees came out sizzling hot. I tried something new for me that was perfect as I'm not fond of spicy heat. It was a potato cheesy enchilada. The atmosphere is like visiting a Casita or ranch in Mexico. Highly recommend!

Enchiladas were excellent... Monday margaritas special for 99 cents amazing value. Staff was fantastic. Only minor complaint is the salsa could use a Lil more spice for my taste....that's just me.

I've been going to Tia Rosa's since the 90s. It is one of my all-time favorites. Unfortunately, the McKellips location has not been performing to the usual Tia Rosa standards. Twice in the last 60 days, we have been very disappointed. Today service was slow even though there were very few customers. We waited 10 minutes for our drinks and had to ask for our server to place our order. The food was not worth the wait. The fish tacos were dry and no limes on the plate. The flavor was off on the seafood enchiladas, and the sides were cold. Super disappointing. I will be visiting the location on Higley and Guadalupe for future visits.

Came for brunch and had amazing fluffy eggs loaded in a taco made by Melissa they do also serve bottomless mimosas if you are interested. Alexea provided excellent service and recommendations. All in all a great great spot for Sun brunch, a little hidden from the main road and relaxing.

We went to Tia Rosa for the first time today as we just moved to the area. This will be our new “go to” place. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our server was on top of everything and very friendly. The decor is so fun. I can’t wait to come back when it’s cooler so we can sit outside!
