I loved this place very loyal for years. although I wasn't long in the time I was shocked with how the prices were beaten. only for two burritos $40.00! I know the times are hard and you're only open at 10 o'clock, but you can't justify this price. I am disappointed and would have appreciated something more than I have supported this business. I hope that the dinge will change in the future, but everyone who becomes aware of the praises.
If they are looking for authentic Mexican foods, this is the definitiw point to try. I have tried the tamal, sopes and chilaquiles eating is rich in taste and taste. shout to the chefs in this restaurant because they know how to cook a few good foods in this kitchen. also the art on the walls adds to this truly authentic Mexican restaurant experience.? *this is an updated review. also these pictures were taken in the juni this year.
I hope the owners and manager read this. if the price gouging was not enough (yes, inflation drives food prices up, yet,) their personal cancel phone orders 20 minutes before the closing. there is plenty of time to make a burrito and bag chips and salsa to go 30 minutes before the closure. it is simply unacceptable that an order is cancelled 10 minutes after placing with enough time to get it out of the door. door that would have delivered my door before you had closed operation for the day. it is obvious that your personal is more interested in leaving at 5 to the right than to make good the received articles and keep happy customers. I will not return and I loved this place, much more than the one on ellsworth. get it together and show them to really take care of their business.
Overpriced. for 5 of us, our bill was $100. no alcohol, only alcohol-free drinks at our meal times. no waiter. I had the fishtaks. They were okay. the drinkers were from regular barqs root beer, others were not available. go to taco bell for this type of price. the chic menu names tend to envy which meal they order. I was disappointed.
3 Stars ?? plus 1/2? I came here on a recommendation that it would be better than their other location: more of a restaurant setting, better quality, and service. I ordered at the register; so there goes the restaurant service one might expect. There was some confusion trying to find the Chimichangas on the menu; even the associate had trouble finding it. I ordered the ground beef chimichanga, making it a platter with refried beans and rice, and a large fountain drink. I was then asked for what kind of beans for the filling? odd as I?m not use to answering that; just make the chimichanga as you will make them. Then I was asked what kind of cup? there?s a dine in cup, and a ?To Go? cup. Odd; considering I may wish to take my drink with me; along with any leftovers. I sat in a more comfortable setting than the booths they have at their other location. Chips and salsa were brought which was nice, and not similar to their other location. When my chimichanga came, I asked for more sour cream as they drizzled some over the chimichanga. The refried beans and rice were okay. When I cut into the chimichanga it wasn?t as crisp as I?d like it to be, and I heard that voice in my head? you know the one of the little old lady from the Wendy?s commercial from days of old that said ?Where?s the beef?!? There was more color than the ground beef from their other location that appeared gray and had no flavor. Plus there was an equal amount, if not more, refried beans than ground beef. This chimichanga really didn?t ?Wow!? me. I left the leftovers behind: about 1/5th of the chimichanga, and less than half of the sides. Is this worth driving 30+ minutes for, and spending $20.30 for? I don?t believe so. Sorry Rury, I gave both restaurants a try. This is slightly better than the other location. I?ll add that your patio is nice, and the bathrooms are available and clean. Maybe I?ll return and give it another try? I?d have to be in the area for that to happen.
