Contribuisci feedbackThis place was far under staff. I was the second person, and no workers were out. The customer went before me. I wish I could. I finally placed my order. My reception says Richard took my order and he wasn't friendly. Many more customers went because it took so long to place an order. It took 30 minutes to get my food and when I got it home, it was cold. That was not a great experience.
I do a fair amount of reviewing and I'd say a very high percentage are positive, so with that said I'll just say that I won't likely go back to Smashburger. The total for 3 people came to over $55 which included a 10%tip which I was prompted to give at the register. I don't think places that collect payment before food is served/consumed (fast food) should expect tips... tips are for great service and above average food IMO. I had the Smoked Bacon Brisket burger... it was decent but I paid $3.09 for a side of tots and was literally brought 15 tots ? The girl at the counter had zero personality, bordering on annoyed that we were there to eat... did I mention 15 tots for $3.09... maybe that was how the staff reacted to a 10% tip?
Torn in this review!!! The burgers were delicious. BUT the female red hair, unable to see any name tag was not hygienic. Upon arrival it took her solid 10 mins to help the couple who ordered one burger. While helping them she poked her nose and scratched her head profusely. She took our order told me that the six meals we ordered were a lot of work. ? She asked if we wouldn 't like to take them home and made a face when we said dine-in. She turned around pokes her nose and adjusts her bra and proceeds to package up meals. Yeah no hand washing or gloves. This was disgusting. I had to say something because it was so disgusting. I asked her to PLEASE glove up. Thankfully someone else who did wash their hands served us and he gloved up. She continued to cash people out and serve their meals without hand washing. She did make the shakes for us but gloved up. She did not glove up or wash her hand when serving others. There is a box of gloves sitting right there. Not sure why hygiene is upon request. The restaurant is under update . But the side that is not is super dirty. We had to wipe our own table there was a mess at every table. Hope the management takes their locations cleanliness seriously because the food was great. So whatever the back is doing should be introduced to the front end. The back had gloves and by the look of our food they pride themselves in their work. I guess, go but ask for a side of hygiene!
Placed an order online. Went to pick it up and no employee would acknowledge that I was standing there, another customer right next to me. Appeared to be understaffed. I finally had to ask about the bag of food sitting on the counter and like I suspected, it was mine. Not a word from who I assumed was the mgr, just handed me the bag. Won't be back. Service was awful. Too many burger places to deal with that.
We purchased the specialty burger that had brisket which was outstanding. We also added avocado to the double stack and shared it. We felt like it was plenty since we also shared fries with rosemary and also a shake. I liked the salted Carmel and she like the Oreo shake and both loved the fries.
