One suggestion I have for the restaurant is to provide reheating instructions for their frozen items. A simple sheet of paper or a QR code with directions would be helpful. I was able to look up instructions online, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. Overall, I'll definitely be coming back as a regular customer!

I had high expectations for Sonson, hoping to find good British food for my sister-in-law who comes from Fresno and is from England. We arrived at 11:00 on a Monday and found 4 women making pasties. They were not very welcoming and seemed uninterested in chatting with us. None of them had a British accent, so we assumed they were not the owners. Unfortunately, the item I wanted (stillcake) was sold out and they didn't seem to care about us waiting or making another choice. When we asked about sausage rolls, they told us they were only available frozen, which was disappointing for my sister-in-law. We ended up buying 2 frozen ones to take home. They also seemed annoyed that we wanted to eat in instead of taking our food to go. The outdoor seating was nice, but the parasols were not open. Overall, the baked goods tasted good, but the unfriendly service made us hesitant to return.

I have a background of eating homemade, authentic baked goods. While there are other places in town that do a good job with pastries, I was disappointed after trying three different pasties from Sonson's. They were overly salty, the dough had an odd texture, and the overall taste was not pleasing. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I have to be honest in saying that I find their food to be an insult to my culinary heritage.

Absolutely beautiful! Just like nan. Real sausage, special recipe. Comfort food in its finest. Very recommended. They're good outside in the East Valley, but worth the trip. You have frozen, you can take home and bake.

First time eating here and it was great. Talking to the nice lady behind the counter this place has been open for 4 years. It's one mile from my house and I've never seen it before. They need to do some better advertising so more people can enjoy these pastys.
