This isn’t an easy visit for people who may be unsteady on their feet as...there’s a lot of stairs. The restaurant is closed on Thursdays so beware. Despite that you can still get a beer/wine overlooking the estuary after the visit.
Went to the Municipal Grotto first then a short walk here for their seemingly famous buckwheat savoury crepes eaten on the terrace in the sunshine a combination of great views of the Estuary and great food and coffee
Fair price, handset given for self guided tour. The English version seemed shorter and less facts than my french speaking husband had on his handset interestingly so he was filling in the gaps that I didn't hear! Restuarant at the end serves savoury and sweet...crêpes. My savoury one I have to say wasn't really to my liking, nothing special and the children have a choice of one! Sweet one was better but again I've had better crêpes before... Overall interesting history of the caves but save your lunch for somewhere else.
After have visited the regulus grottos, we had some awesome french crêpes mine with buttersalt caramel and my partner had a chocolate banana one and very good cidre. Very good and a nice view
After visiting for lunch with freinds i would recommend this restaurant to anyone, the owners are great and staff are only too please to help, i would recomened this as a hotel aswell, a friend stayed there said it was Worth every panny, in the...summer you can sit on the terrace wich is beautiful and gaze over the estuary,
