Zum Spessart - Mespelbrunn

This restaurant in the middle of mespelbrunn an der wald rande is specialized in German dishes. there are even seasonal offers that include ceremonies or fresh dishes with pfifferlingen. eating in itself is always very excellent and always fresh. the prices are more than favorable for such large portions that you can hardly eat completely. after the meal they can then decompose the eaten calorie in the nearby forest again to a walk. the air on the outside terrace is therefore always very clear and healthy.

When it comes to German eating, this restaurant is my absolute favorite. Although they have to drive from aschaffenburg to the spessart, it is worth it anyway. Eat is very fresh, especially the salad, and really very tasty. the portions are above average and sometimes I can hardly eat anything. here they get really more than tired for their money, so the next day they don't need an breakfast. the price is very cheap because it is not in a larger city. so everything just perfect!

We ask ourselves why only a few fresh vegetables are served in so many hotels in Germany and the salads usually consist of pickled or preserved vegetables (with occasional salad leaf/tomatoes) or vegetables swim in mayonnaise. In other words, it must be assumed that they are used for the German taste of the less demanding type, but it seems a shame if one knows that there are good seasonal vegetables in shops. Nice wine, of course, in this area.

We recently had a nice weekend in this very typical rural hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant busy with really good home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast, no complaints!!

It is convenient if you do not want to take your car and reach the village (it is nearby, only 2-3 minutos from the hotel). Our choice was good. Not so expensive. Try the local beer!
