Porch Swing - Mesquite

This was our first visit, and right from the entrance, we noticed how clean the place was, and there was plenty of parking available. The hostess was friendly and promptly greeted us, getting us seated quickly. Our waitress, Taylor, was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations based on our inquiries. The food was delicious—we tried the catfish, ribs, and chicken tenders, all of which were excellent. They also had live music, which added to the atmosphere. Our meal was reasonably priced at around $60 (before tip) for three people. We ended our evening relaxing outside on their porch swings, enjoying the refreshing evening breeze.

We had a great meal at a reasonable price, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was served hot and tasted fresh. The service was excellent. The only downside was the mashed potatoes, which had an odd taste—hopefully, that was just a one-time issue. This was our first visit, but we'll definitely be returning.

My family and I just had our first meal at this restaurant, and we left feeling completely satisfied and happy! Between the four of us, we enjoyed chicken fried steak, fried shrimp, a half rack of ribs, chicken tenders, green beans, mashed potatoes, house beans, and macaroni and cheese. For dessert, we indulged in coconut cream pie, buttermilk pie, and apple pie, all of which were delightful. The ambiance, both inside and outside, is very inviting, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of outdoor seating for those lovely days, and I've heard that there is live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, starting around 8 PM.

I had an excellent dining experience! The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. I went with three friends, and we each ordered something different. Every dish we tried was delicious, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. While we waited, we were treated to warm biscuits, which was a lovely touch. Our server did a great job of ensuring that our teas and lemonades were always refilled. I personally enjoyed the ribs, which were incredible. To top it off, we each sampled a different slice of pie, and they were all outstanding! I will definitely be returning.

The food is outstanding, and the wait staff is excellent. Orders are served quickly, and while you wait, you’re treated to a homemade cheesy butter biscuit. There are two honey containers on the table—one regular and one spicy. The spicy honey has a nice kick to it and tastes fantastic! Overall, I highly recommend this bright and airy restaurant; it’s a great concept. The pies are incredible! When you order a pie to go, they even include a fork! We definitely needed this restaurant in Mesquite!
