I was in this hotel for work reasons, the structure is a villa used as a hotel with a large outdoor garden/patio, upon arrival we were greeted with nice smiles, after checking in we took the rooms and I must say which are furnished in a particular way. Very large bathrooms equipped with everything you need. We also took advantage of the catering service and I must compliment the chef, in 3 days he didn 't make 1 mistake. Finally, applause for the service staff, always smiling, friendly and always available to satisfy the customer 's needs. The only flaw is that the cars parked outside, under those beautiful pine trees, are bombarded by the birds that live above. Shameful ... very uncomfortable and very hard beds, in the double room where we stayed the bed consisted of two beds because in this way they can 'play ' on this thing when a third bed is added in a double room and so on... ; mattresses that my grandmother used yes and no 40-50 years ago, to be changed. After the first night, full of back pain and more, we pointed this out and first they told us that they had toppers to put on which is not true and then they only changed 1 of the 2 mattresses on the double bed. In addition, the older lady who was at the reception mockingly told us that they were very comfortable and 'orthopedic ' yes, orthopedic, maybe the other way around... . Overall the room was not bad, they could use some updating chandelier with fan from the 70s-80s, old fridge that cooled little or nothing, broken baseboards, etc. . Breakfast nothing short of horrible, few things and poor quality one of the ugliest coffees I 've ever drunk . Among other things, with the front garden or in the area under the swimming pool, I don 't understand why to do it in a 5x5 room. Quite dangerous path to go to the Spa and the swimming pool, between tree branches protruding from the broken tiles and a small road in the middle where they were about to run over us 2-3 times with cars going up and down. Spa and swimming pool for 6, beautiful view of the lake. I didn 't quite understand why those staying in the villa are not automatically granted entry to the pool, we had to pay either 10 euros per person per day or 30 euros per person with buffet lunch nothing exceptional . Rude staff, except Alessia from the Spa who welcomed us very well. At the end of the stay they even got the final bill wrong I didn 't even notice it and they harassed me for days of calls and emails in the end it was 30 euros, they could have left it alone given the complaints , but in any case everyone manages own structure as you want, excellent potential, given the area and the view, but not exploited. I don 't know how it is a 4 star hotel, maybe 3. Surely after the hassle of being harassed during business hours for 30 euros we won 't be returning. Stay from 12 to 15 August 2023
