Best Chinese food I?ve had near New Orleans. You have to ask for the authentic menu or else they give you a limited menu with sesame chicken and such. The eggplant fish dish is so good and I?m not even a big eggplant fan.
I ordered two Manderin Chicken platters for take out. The chicken had extremely heavy batter that was a dark brown color and I could tell that the chicken was over fried. I tried to eat it and it had a taste that it was burnt. The few pieces I tried eating, the chicken was grizzly. I gave up on eating the chicken, and tried the egg roll, which had a weird taste, and only ate half of it. The shrimp fried rice was OK. If I would have been served this at the restaurant, Iwould have returned it after eating a piece of the chicken. I wound up paying $30 for two Mandarin Chicken platters that were inedible and wound up in the trash.

Hit the spot the tummy. Good food, great service, reasonably priced for serving, made my day. Chicken Fried Rice, Pork Shrimp Eggroll, Chicken Mandarin with sauce on the side, Veggie fried rice with Tofu and Fried Wonton's. Pickup order, the staff was jolly in a positive mode especially after Hurricane Ida just hit.
