French Truck Coffee - Metairie

I always come to this restaurant for my espresso. The server is always happy to grind my 2 pounds of espresso so I can enjoy it at home and in the morning.

Honestly, I have always had a suspicion that French Truck was one of those post-Katrina brands that people only like because it's a local thing, and my recent experience confirmed it for me. There are more branded items than actual products offered, and spending over $9 for a below-average almond croissant and lukewarm cup of coffee left me feeling like the coffee was just a token gesture to support another local brand. Overall, I was disappointed by the experience. Update: I received a negative message from someone identified by Google who was just waiting to criticize.

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive customer experience today, but the management was quick to address and resolve the issue. Thank you!
