The Happy Hour and service have notably improved over the years. Today marked my first visit in several months, and Liz and Ellery were absolutely delightful. The Cannonball drink is always a hit! I chose the seafood gumbo as my entree, and it was great. I also really like the addition of the wall that separates the entrance; it enhances the overall space. I’ll definitely be returning soon! My only suggestion would be to have two greeters at the door. Tonight, I wasn’t acknowledged because one greeter was on the phone, which made the welcome feel a bit chilly compared to the warm service I used to experience.
After a long drive from Houston, we were extremely hungry. We kicked things off with the Who Dat crab cakes, which were definitely the highlight of our meal! They were delicious, and the sauce on top was divine. I ordered the fried shrimp basket and added some crawfish tails; it was just average, and the dipping sauces were pre-packaged and underwhelming. My wife tried the gumbo and found it to be just okay as well. The menu is extensive, and I wish I had chosen one of the pasta dishes instead.
I haven't actually tried the food yet, but I want to share my experience with the manager I spoke with over the phone. They included a card in the bag that says to text a number if there’s an issue with your order, which turned out to be helpful since I checked my bag to see what my slice looked like, and it was just a tiny piece of pecan pie. I don’t think that’s worth $8, so I decided to text the number. A manager called me back, and to make a long story short, he offered me everything except a larger slice of pie—kind of ironic! After I finally tried the food, I was really disappointed; the pie was terrible, and so was the corn crawfish soup. I won’t be going back!
I recently celebrated a birthday dinner at this restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. While the food was delicious, I found the portion sizes to be somewhat lacking. Our server, Bryana, was friendly and engaging, and she played a key role in helping us make our dining choices. I would recommend Bobby Hebert's primarily for its excellent service and inviting atmosphere. The food also packed plenty of flavor!
Keith provided excellent service. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. I’ve never been disappointed dining here.
