We started with the pork dumplings for appetizers and ordered the Salty Duck and Choy Suce stir fry Veggies. The food was good and delicious. The staff was friendly, I will definitely come back here!
Chef is from Nanjing, dining room inherited a Japanese decor, maybe over an earlier Japanese restaurant. Many authentic menu choices, some TOO sweet for my taste, probably from in-house reconstituted soy sauce, too sweet, sugar not completely burned to give dark color before other ingredients added. Prep-in-Advance articles require a high turnover to keep fresh, not easy for this city, but so far good. Onion often uses when green onion is what I used to see. I'm a little critical because my father was a cook in Hong Kong and I worked in 5 star restaurants in NYC/Miami at college. To remain relevant, food must be constantly consistent, EACH time. It'll be back a lot. I'll rank this under the Top 5 in New Orleans.
This place is amazing! We were here without knowing what it was. I was hungry and pointed to the first place that was open. The food was amazing! I had the rams and I'll come back for more! If you in the neighborhood I highly recommend this place!
The food was a little slow, but everything was delicious. Service was great. Favourite dishes were the maple tofu and the spicy chicken.
