Zócalo - Metairie

I'd been wanting to try Zócalo because I've heard so many good things about it. The rumors were all true! The food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was really nice (perfect for our small group). The bottomless margarita option on Thursdays was also surprisingly good. I already want to go back and try something else from the menu.

This restaurant is one of the most disappointingly bland places I've ever dined at. It's unfortunate that in an area teeming with excellent cuisine, this spot offers overpriced, unseasoned Mexican food. The atmosphere was great, but sadly, that's all the praise I can give. Food rating: 2/5.

I had a delightful dinner at this restaurant. The drinks were excellent, and the Margarita Sampler was expertly crafted. The service was great, and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back. Food rating: 4/5.
