The atmosphere was high class, and the food very tasty. Their Shabbat Meal services were very plentiful and all of the staff were very friendly and offered good service. Highly recommended.

The varied menu is divided into various cuisines and the prices are very reasonable, especially in light of there being no competition. We enjoyed an Uzbek meat pie, beef and mushrooms in wine sauce and an Israeli salad. We're going back for Shabbat dinner, which you must make an advance reservation for.

We did not expect such a fine kosher restaurant in Saint Petersburg. We were surprised by the quality of the food (well prepared and fresh), the variety of dishes offered and the price (quite reasonable). The service was friendly and pleasant even though the staff was a bit over burdened by the number of diners. We met travelers from all over the world as well as locals. During our short visit we ate there twice and would have returned had we stayed longer. This restaurant definitely added to the enjoyment of our visit to St. Petersburg.

We were ecstatic to be able to have kosher food. It was really good. I had a chicken dish with pomegranate sauce that was very enjoyable.

I was with my Russian-speaking guide visiting the Grand Choral Synagogue, and we decided to have lunch at Le'chaim, the restaurant associated with the synagogue. There's a gazebo-like cafe/snack bar just to the right of the entrance to the synagogue, but the real restaurant is to the side and downstairs. On the day we were there, a group of young girls in uniform from the Hebrew School were out playing in the schoolyard. The restaurant is a very large space, and, rather strangely, we were the only customers. But we were warmly welcomed, and overall it was a great experience. I had a so-called Israeli salad and a cream of celery soup. I don't know why, but I expected a kind of cafeteria-style cuisine, but no: both these dishes were really excellent restaurant-quality. Not fancy restaurant, but good restaurant. Quantity was good, too, I wouldn't have wanted to eat more. I don't remember what my dining companion had, but he was quite satisfied as well. Prices are reasonable. I recommend.
