Legendary place I've been going to since mid 70's!! Friendly family establishment with Out of This World Pies, Gorton, deli! Just Top Notch.... Highly recommend!!!!

I have been buying the English style pork pies here for more years than I care to admit! The chicken pies are even better! I travel over 20 miles to get here a few times a year as my family, coworkers, and friends love these pies. They also make delicious sausages!!! I got some tomato sausage as it is a childhood favorite of mine. Delicious. Fantastic, friendly staff and the owners are a delight. I have known them for over 20 years and they still remember me and my kids whenI am there. Run, do not walk, to this place and get a taste of what real handmade food tastes like. My only wish is that they were closer to me!

Delicious meat pies. I love the classic pork pie but anything I've tried has been fantastic. I've also brought home frozen sausage and that was incredible, especially the BBQ bratwurst. I need to try the fresh sausage some day, definitely worth a special trip just for that, and since I'm there I'll probably stuff a pork pie in my face.

My family got pork cake and French touring pie from here as long as I remember! From what I was told, my great grandfather had an English pork cake shop in Methuen years ago and while his recipe was lost in time, Thwaites are exactly the same and bring back tasty memories! I live now outside of MA for grade school, but I am always sure to stop by when I visit home to a few hot to eat right away and some cold to freeze and back to school with me! There's something very comfortable with a tiny, piercing hot pork cake.
