Kaplan Catering has been my go to in Raleigh for well over a decade Bruce is wonderful to work with. We never select or review the menu, we trust his judgement and have NEVER been disappointed. If you're ever in need of a caterer, call Kaplan Catering first!

I attended a scholarship fundraiser tonight. Kaplan Catering provided the food and it was phenomenal!They roasted a pig, fried fish, Hawaiian flavored roasted chicken, plantain, fried bananas and more for this Hawaiian themed event. The staff was courteous, smiled, and provided assistance as needed.Enjoyable evening and Kaplan Catering was a huge part of it.

Great food and service, but some items are overpriced. Ribs and fried chicken are great. The ribs have good smoke flavor and are tender and juicy. The chicken has excellent flavor but since we took them to go they had lost their crispiness by the time we got home (not the restaurant's fault). Still they taste very good. My one concern about the chicken is their size: The pieces are huge, which makes me wonder about what these chicken are fed... Otherwise, I found the whole rack of ribs was overpriced in that you only get the ribs without any side. Those are extra. That price should include at least one side (one large side or two small sides). The owners/staff are great. Glad this place is in the neighborhood, that area needs a good BBQ place, which this one is

Amazing! Can’t wait to try more things on the menu. The best pulled pork, coleslaw, Cucumber salad and banana pudding!
