Parkside - Metro Durham/Chapel Hill

Always a good experience. Good food options for a variety of people. Nice intro to southern cuisine. Can't go wrong with the bacon wrap dates and the pimento cheese and fried saltines.

Food was mediocre. Never had tasteless bacon before. Only good part were the eggs that were fried in sausage grease, but that means they were very greasy and some may have issues with that. Service was fine, but the place was mostly empty when I got in.

Went around 3pm during Galaxycon. There were plenty of tables available due to the off hour. The service could have been better with refills and checking on us but the food was great. Homemade fries and the burgers were so good. 10/10 would recommend for the food.

Food arrived cold and waitress did not check in at all while eating.

We arrived 9:30 Sunday morning, they had our reservation, we were seated promptly. Everyone was was nice and in a great mood. We received our drinks and food quickly. They were on top of refills and clearing away plates promptly. There was five of us, all entrees were great accept my wife's steak bowl, that just looked like a scrambled mess, but everything else was great. We would return!
