Free samples too, Columbian hazelnut and venezuelan raisin 90% were good. Americano and drip were good too. Free 2hour parking if u prepay on app then ask for validation when getting coffee. Nice atmosphere, basically a cool historic coffeeshop with the chocolate-making facility and storefront. Outdoor seating on side and front. Will go again!
Just superb! Cute little ice cream parlor. You can order outside. Right next to the railroad. They have some unique ice cream toppings. I appreciate the fact that you can get a small ice cream for a even smaller price. I paid around three dollars withtoppings. They have bigger sizes and cones as well. Will definitely be back!
Found this place on things to do in Raleigh. Was a little disappointed at the self tour as I was expecting a little too much I guess (Willy Wonka lol) Was very interesting though to read about the history and see chocolate being made. It is all DARKchocolate which I don?t like. My wife loves it though. Apparently they don?t want to compromise their quality with milk.Understandable. They have a really nice coffee bar and an ice cream shop which were great. Little on the pricey side but it?squality.
This is a wonderful chocolate shop. They give you the history and how they make their chocolate. They allow you taste test all of their bars. You can get chocolates, coffee or hot chocolate, and ice cream. You can also do a tour of their chocolate makingprocess from the bean to the final product. I highly reccomend. There is a paid lot right next door and limited street parkingin front.
I visited this location on a Sunday so there were no workers in the chocolate making area for the store. However I was able to do a self guided tour using the QR codes around the store, so understandably so it was underwhelming. I'm sure its better whenyou can actually see the process in real time. I did though have the best frozen hot chocolate. It was just the right sweetnessand had the purest smooth chocolate taste. My daughter had the hot chocolate which was also excellent.
