Yes, it could be a little slow, but generally it was great to eat. but the times have changed and I cannot imagine. here is a spherical breakdown of the problems at my last visit. • there were 4 of us and the meal took 50 minutes to serve. • I ordered an salad for my friend and I to split; the waiter brought it with the hot ducks. I had really expected that we could get the salat before the rest of the meal) • we ordered an ahi tuna should be sent on both sides and rarely in the center) and it was way overcooked everywhere • we ordered a ribeye steak that was also very well made and tasty • as my friend at the waiter said that the two tellers were not well made he worked, smiley cook sometimes said that • I asked myself to speak to the manager who stood at the bar during the meal and did nothing.) when I explained how bad the meal was, he realized that it was not good and apologised. there was no offer to discount the bill $1,800 mxn) or any compensation of any kind. In summary, it seems that the personal was completely aware that their foods were not standard, especially given the price. they are completely ok with it and have no intention to improve. So if they can avoid it, they eat somewhere else.
The place is small and decorated in a contemporary, minimalist way. it is charming and warm. the dishes were good, but they did not have what I wanted to order first (a no for a restaurant, always.) the reference food price flavor is direct. another visit worth.
I was with italiano cucina twice. the first time that my wife and I ordered the otopus and bone marrow apps and shared a rib eye. the otopus was very good, but the ribeye was a bit dry and boiled. we wanted her 'signature' cream brulee. but they were said to be out and we had the tiramisu, which was served in a martini glass? it didn't look like a tiramisu, but it was delicious. we went back and ordered meatballs as an appetizer. the plate literally had four small meatballs that they would put in a spaghetti plate. we had the fetter-alfredo that was just in order. we asked about the cream brulee again and said they were out (again) . I asked about the same tiramisu and was told five minutes that they were also from the (serious) . ... we skipped that dessert. there are much better options in mexicali for Italian food and will probably not be back.
The food here is good, some dishes are tastier tan others, the service is excellent, and the selection of wine is excellent too.. the desserts are one of the best in town.
Eat well enough, but the server disappeared. I think this kitchen has approved besides eating to a facility.
