Cafebrería El Péndulo Roma

My brother enjoyed his mocha frio and i enjoyed the cappuccino. the carousel egg dish was yummy and healthy and the arrachera chilaquiles w mole sauce was flavorful and great as well. i ordered a side of potatoes thinking they'd be breakfast potatoes but they were just fries so we didn't eat those. we also bought a few books. they have an extensive english book section.

A bookstore with restaurant seating on the first floor, cafe seating on the second floor, and a bar on the third floor. It’s a chill vibe with friendly staff. The food is ok but with large portions. The chilaquiles was my favorite. I’d want to check out the third floor bar when they have events.

Perfect spot to breakfast and then linger to read a book/work on your laptop while you soak up the vibes. The chilaquiles with salsa verde are a must and I recommend dining/working on the second floor.

El péndulo ya es una institución en su mercado, ya que el concepto de librería, tienda de regalos y cafetería ha tenido años de éxito en la Condesa, Roma y Polanco. La sucursal de Roma es la más grande, ocupando un edificio entero en medio de Álvaro Obregón, en el corazón de la Roma. En los tres pisos se pueden encontrar libros, regalos y películas. La comida es deliciosa, tanto en el desayuno como en la cena, aunque el servicio siempre es un poco lento. Es un buen lugar para ir sin prisa.

La combinación perfecta de tranquilidad y deliciosa comida y bebidas para disfrutar en compañía.
