La Palapa - Mi Viejo San Juan

Muy buena comida junto al mar. Algo caro para lo que es.Recomendados los aguachiles y tacos de camarón capeado.

After diving in Cabo Pulmo you have your choice between a couple places but I ended up going here for most of my meals. Mediocre food and slow service (they are understaffed). None of the options are amazing, but none are terrible either. My favorite...dish was the coconut shrimp and my least favorite was the shrimp ceviche.

If you are in Cabo Pulmo, you have to stop by at La Palapa for a bite for a drink. You are right on the beach with gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez. The chef was extremely helpful to us when we said we...are vegetarian, she went out of her way to make something off the menu for us. And the enchiladas she made with blue corn tortillas were fabulous! Prices are quite reasonable.

After the dive its nice to have such a delicious food. The Location is perfect just on the seashore. While waiting for your food you can enjoy to drink your lemonade/ Margarita at the same time looking at the beautiful view.

We had several meals here during our stay. Foods is excellent and fairly priced. Service sometimes can be a bit slow, when the place is busy (but so what, we are on holiday). The location right at the waterfront is awesome.
