Bacon Bitch - Miami Beach

After seeing this spot on social media, I was excited that we snagged a reservation and to try the food. The atmosphere is fun, with everyone calling you the B word. But that's really the appeal. The menu was just pretty much that of your average breakfast spot. I got the pancakes and fruit, which were interesting because they were more like spongecakes. They are generous with their portions of bacon, living up to their name.

The vibe was lit from the time we arrived!!!!! Ask for Dasia you will not regret it!!!! I had the drink Drunk **** and was tipsy after a few sips!

My husband and I came here twice on our honeymoon, and should have skipped another spot and come here thrice!Food? Fantastic! I wish I tried more of the menu!Drinks? This is definitely a case of style over substance. The whole concept is good very Miami personality but the actual eating experience isn’t amazing.The staff all have energy and a great personality they are attentive and make sure you’re served.The demand to get in here is wild. Queues out the door, and even if you’ve booked, you can still expect to wait another 20 30 mins for a table on a Saturday morning.The food itself is ok, but not amazing. The real pull are the frozen cocktails. Our food was really late to the point where we were about to complain when it arrived, 45 mins after we ordered it and had watched everyone around us being served. Our server joked that maybe they’d killed the chicken out the back to make it, and have us 2 free drinks.It’s obviously a good place to kick start a party day in South Beach, but it’s not gourmet but I think that’s ok.
