I decided to bring my new fiance for a evening meal there but was very disappointed. I showed up at 7:45 PM, the place was empty. My two party was seated outdoors waited 10 minutes for a waitress to take a drink order. They took larger groups seated after I was first for drink orders complimentary bread snacks while I waited. Another 10 minutes later my drinks bread come. Took 20 minutes of waiting for a drink. Another 10 more for the waitress to come back to the table to take my order for two appetizer. One came out in 5 minutes, the other took another 10 minutes was served cold, fried calamari COLD. I requested it to be returned to the kitchen however it never was picked up. After another 15 minutes of waiting the owner came over said hello, bepe, which I know from the area, talked nicely but forgot to take the cold dish to replace it. I was very disappointed being local knowing it was a slow Saturday asked for the bill. Can you beleive it, they still charged my for the requested returned item. I was so tired of waiting ready to go to someplace that can serve a dinner for customers. All together, it was a hour and a half the waitress came to my table twice. Screwed up the order, did not comps the cold food served. And worst of all, it was like I was not even sitting there.
This is a nice little Spanish restaurant, good food, variety of tapas, GREAT FLAMENCO SHOW. (wed, sat, sun) BUT STAFF service not that good, as previous review, waitress are rushing you to order and don't really help you with explanation about the dishes or desserts, (maybe poor knowledge of their own menu), little rude. If go back is for the show and food, don't deserve a big tip.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! BEFORE CONSIDERING TO DINE IN THIS PLACE PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING. Worst customer service I have ever had. I am a South Beach local and very familiar with what a decent dinning experience should be like. I have to say that I have never been so insulted by a waitress in my life. The night began with a very unprofessional manager who was also very poorly dressed and constantly approaching the table to harass us about the arrival of the remaining members of the party even though we were consuming food and drinks. As we discussed the uncomfortable and embarrassing situation among us, the waitress who was waiting on our table suddenly intruded in our PERSONAL conversation with a very antagonistic tone and called my party rude and disrespectful. Needless to say, we were in complete and total shock and asked her to leave our table. When we spoke to the manager to request for a new waitress, he refused and stated that he was not going to accommodate us because we were talking about him????? I was thinking to myself…. Is this an episode from the Twilight Zone? Since when has dinning became a personal affair between patrons and service staff??????? We obviously understood that this restaurant does not value their business and does not care about customer satisfaction therefore, we decided to leave. As I was leaving, I told the waitress that she had very poor manners. The waitress then turned around and gave me the middle finger!!!!!!! I have never felt to cheated and again insulted. Never again will I ever go to that place again. BEWARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE STAFF IN SOUTH BEACH.
We 've been here twice and will return on our next trip. The food is interesting and you can sample a variety of tapas for a relatively low price. The Sangria is great and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is comfortably casual. It 's a nice alternative from some of the ;fancy ; and expensive places Miami is known for.
The Food and Sangria were terrific. Sunday night Tango lessons started at 8:30pm. Prices were moderate. Large selection of Tapas. All three we ordered were great as were the mixed grill platter. I will go back.
