Even after walking home for about 10 min, everything was still crispy, and the bun was not soggy from resting on the meat and veg. They had a huge win by placing the lettuce just after the bun and it fully encapsulated the tomato, bacon, and egg which kept the top bun from being soggy too. For me, the biggest win was the burger meat itself. Plenty of flavor with a good size and it wasn't greasy which seems to be a theme at other restaurants as a substitute for being juicy and having flavor. The same goes for their truffle fries, not smothered in oil and still full of the truffle Parmigiano flavor you're looking for.
Nice surprise for vegan burger!! Good quinoa home made party and had it sweet potato fries.Worth the detour when you need a quick burger.Busy but fast service. We would come back for sure!
Let's me start by saying I don't exactly remember much about my experience with this restaurant like how I got there, how long I stayed and how I ended up leaving because it was long after midnight the weekend of Art Basel and this was far from my first stop.I hope you're picking up what I'm putting down. However, as I was going through my photo album just now, I came across a screenshot of the name of this restaurant typed into the Yelp search bar to remind myself at a later time to write this very review.I ordered the empanadas wrongfully assuming they'd be the fried meat-filled pastry with flaky dough that I'm used to. These were not that. They were fried HARD and had meat *and* potatoes inside them. Totally not what I was looking forward to. I later learned that some countries/cultures prepare empanadas differently. I'll be mindful going forward.Good news is the wait couldn't have been too bad because I would've remembered. More good news is that they were fresh and very hot, I almost burnt my tongue.
Giving this spot a 5. Highly recommend. Went to Miami Art Basel and heard great things about this burger spot. Tired and hungry, I ordered their signature burger with angus beef, sharp cheddar, hickory smoked bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, pickle and red onion $16). The burgers are served with fries with a side of truffle aoili and ketchup. Ordered to-go then drove home another 30 minutes, probably ate the burger 45 minutes after and it was AMAZING! The runny yolk did the trick, the juices made the burger extra juicy, and the brioche buns held together perfectly. I enjoyed every bite..wish I had two! The fries were a hearty cut of steak fries. Still pretty good, but hot fries are always better. No ones fault but mines. But, do be ready and patient as they craft your perfect burger. It 's worth the wait. Small spot with tables, friendly staff and great food.
If we could leave 0 stars we would. Very limited burger choices, the burger had no taste (even with all the toppings), our order was cooked wrong multiple times (we ordered medium, came out well-done twice so we just decided to say screw it and we kept it because we were so hungry), and we had to pay for the food even before we got the food (unlike other restaurants where you eat first then pay). Multiple negative factors against this place, we don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. We spent $40 for food we didn’t like at all. We won’t be back.
