Area 31 Epic - Miami

The food at this restaurant was very disappointing. It lacked flavor and was not worth the price. I regret going there. I ordered the pasta with lobster and it was not good at all. The lobster was way too chewy. I would not recommend this place for food, maybe just for drinks.

I went to use the restroom and the host asked me if I wanted to bill the meal to my room or pay now. I chose to bill it to my room. She then asked me for my room number, but I received a charge alert on my credit card instead. The host gave me a disapproving look as if she thought I couldn't pay a bill over $500. As I left the rooftop restaurant, she gave me a nasty look. I didn't bother arguing with her because it didn't matter to me whether I paid at that moment or charged it to my room since I planned on using room service and dining there the next day. The service at this restaurant was fantastic, with attention to detail and delicious food. Our waiter carefully explained the menu items and wine specials. The appetizers, drinks, and food were served at the right times, not all at once. While we had an issue with the lobster being overcooked and rubbery, the manager quickly resolved the issue by replacing it with a perfectly cooked and seasoned one. The restaurant also offers a beautiful view of the Brickell financial district. This was our fourth visit and we highly recommend it to anyone in Miami. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Tried the Herb Crusted Scallops, Short Rib and Truffle Risotto, everything tasted amazing. Service was on point, even the Chef and Restaurant Manager stopped by the table to check on us. Outside terrace has one of the best views in downtown Miami.

We went to breakfast, I think is overpriced, we paid $500 for a breakfast for 5 and 3 mimosas each. They already contain the top of $85.00
