Cantina Catrina - Miami

I went to a Mexican restaurant that was playing extremely loud Cuban music, which seemed like a strange combination. Beware that they will charge you for extra chips without informing you. Also, the tip is already included in the bill, so be careful not to double tip. The food was not great, below average in taste. The servers were the only positive aspect, they were very good. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Adding a 20% tip to the bill is unacceptable, and asking for additional tip on top of that is absurd.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, but the service was average and the food was not very impressive.

I felt the waitress was rushing us… I did feel good vibes inside I wanted leave. Definitely not good for a date.

This was my second time at Cantina Catrina, and service is poor. They need to do better. The first time, the hostess became our server because the service was so bad. I even saw people at the table next to mine just walk out because we waited so long for our server. The second time, our waitress did not speak English. She brought water and disappeared, when my guess arrived she brought water, the lemonade I ordered came 20mns later. She never returned for our orders, I had to call the hostess. My food came first after 25mns, my guess food never came out. Had to call for attention, and finally, after another 15-20mns, the food came. Our server never returned to check on us. What a disappointment. I would rather do their food truck as I sure the service would be better.
