Absolutely great new spot in Wynwood, bigger that it looks from the outside, beautiful garden in the back, service and food were amazing even when they had few servers for many tables. Perfect for date night or group of friends to share tapas. Their version of the Caesar salad must try!Definitely will come back.
Our first time dining here and chose this restaurant because I love Spanish cuisine so decided to come here for our NYE's dinner. Loved the interiors and reception was attentive although I didn't get the table I wanted which was a corner or booth table. They seated us in a high table in the main dining hall. Also disappointed that they did not have Spanish Cava which we wanted to order. The best option was a light sparkling rose which was enjoyable enough with the dishes we ordered. For starters we had the croquetas de Jamon mushrooms were yummy and served very quickly. The Jamon Jabugo de Bellota served with pan de tomate was delicious too. The house steak specialties we ordered the Secreto and Solomillo were both nicely plated, tender and well seasoned. The Crispy Lechon was disappointing as it wasn't really crispy and pork meat texture was overcooked.
We ordered the serrano dish in three styles for around $40, which came with four slices of bread. My friend ordered the egg cake, but she had to send it back because it was cold. We also ordered drinks, but they took forever to arrive and were terrible when they did. We requested additional broth since the garlic didn’t come with it, but it took 20 minutes, and we had to ask twice for it. My friend even spoke to the manager, who informed us that the restaurant had just opened. We understood that, but still—how can you mess up bread? When we asked for the bill, the server brought it, and my friend accidentally spilled drinks all over herself while reaching across the table. They automatically added a 20% tip, but I feel like they didn’t deserve it because the experience was terrible. No one in the restaurant, not even the waitstaff, busboys, or manager, seemed to care about addressing our issues.
Both the jamón and paella were outstanding, and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This is a fantastic new restaurant with genuine Spanish charm.
