Terrible experience at this restaurant! When I walked in with a group of four, the supposed manager (who claimed to be the owner) was shouting at the staff. I asked the very professional waiter to ask her to calm down, but she outright refused. I kindly asked her to take her attitude elsewhere, but she started yelling at me and told me to mind my own business. I was shocked by the confrontation. It's worth noting that she also refused to give me her name, stating that this is her business and she can do whatever she wants. I reminded her that she is in business because of customers like us.

The Guayacan restaurant in Miami serves the best Nicaraguan food! Located in a trendy part of town close to downtown nightlife, this family-run restaurant has been serving up delicious dishes for decades. I couldn't stop thinking about the Carne Asada after trying it - tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with citrus. The portions are generous, providing enough for two meals. The pescado in cream sauce was also a hit, with a tender texture and charred grill marks, complemented by a deliciously light sauce. The sides of rice, beans, and maduros (sweet plantains) were all fantastic as well. Overall, the Guayacan offers amazing value for delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere.

I don't even know where to start. It's been over ten years since my last visit to this restaurant. I tried the Lengua en Salsa dish back then, and decided to order it again during my most recent visit. The flavors were just as delicious and rich in Nicaraguan influence as I remembered. The service was exceptional, with a gentleman who has been working at this restaurant for over 20 years taking care of us. Don't forget to try the tres leche with flor de caña - it's a must-have! My family and I can't stop raving about our wonderful experience, even though it's been over a week since our visit. Make sure to give this Miami gem a try.
