The California rolls were also excellent. I opted for Ito unsweetened green tea, and I must say it’s the best bottled green tea I’ve ever tried. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options, including sashimi and udon. I highly recommend this place!
Definitely a place worth seeking out! It’s a true gem. The sushi and various Asian dishes are absolutely delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the menu. My daughter is vegan, and there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available. The tofu teriyaki was outstanding! The atmosphere inside is lovely, and the outdoor seating is just as captivating. It’s a simple, fresh, and fairly priced spot that serves really excellent food. The tempura vegetables and shrimp were the highlight of our meal. I’m so glad to have found this new special place to enjoy and unwind.
The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly, but I have serious concerns about the food. I don’t eat fish, but I enjoy Japanese cuisine and usually opt for unique non-fish rolls. At Iron, I tried the Latin roll (filled with fried chicken) and a roll with “stewed pork.” While the Latin roll was decent, I had an unsettling experience with the pork roll. The first bite didn’t sit well with me, so I inspected it more closely and realized the pork was shiny and still quite pink inside. Initially, I dismissed it as poor lighting and took another bite, but that didn't help my concerns. After prodding the pork in the remaining slices, I decided it was best to stop eating it altogether. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they informed me that this was the owner’s preferred cooking method. Based on this experience, I don’t think I'll be returning to this restaurant.
I absolutely love Iron Sushi ???? ! It is my go to place for take out. The food is delicious and fresh. My favorite is the salmon nigiri ???? and the Tobiko. The value is fantastic and the service is friendly. The parking in the area can be tricky so I suggest the near by parking garage if you are eating in.
The staff here was super nice, but I'm pretty sure that this restaurant serves me raw pork. I don't eat fish, but I love Japanese food and I tend to order what unusual non-fish roll a restaurant offers. here at iron I ordered the Latin roll (with fried chicken) and the roll that had “small pork”. the Latin roll was ok, but on the first bit the black roll, felt something and tasted. I have looked at the roll more closely and noticed that the black was shiny and still pretty pink. but I thought maybe it was just the not-very good lighting at the place, so I ate another disc and it was no more soothing than the first. After I got on the pork in the remaining discs of the roll, I decided not to risk it and just not to eat anymore when it was. I made this personal and they said it was the way the owner wants to cook it. I don't think I'll eat here again.
