Picture a mountain chalet that has been transported to a Miami neighborhood and transformed into a Honduran sports bar and restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While it may sound unusual and eclectic, it surprisingly comes together beautifully, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The food is also excellent, featuring an array of Honduran dishes alongside more familiar American options. The service and food are impressively quick, especially during off-peak hours, and the quality is certainly deserving of a palapa. If you're in the area and craving some delicious Honduran cuisine, definitely check this place out!
Excellent food tasty! Just need to improve the service time!
This place used to be called Iselitas. Now La Palapa....food is always good and fresh I looooove their beef soup. Their Pupusas are really rasty and the Baleadas are delish....the tostones con queso and salad are crunchylisious. The place is outdated but has cold beer and nice ambiance. Good music on the weekends and the service is good.....definitely a must for Beef Soup.....
I recently visited this restaurant with my family after a long time, and I'm happy to say it lived up to my previous memories. I definitely felt a sense of nostalgia being back, although the place has been updated a bit—something I didn't mind at all. I ordered carne asada and lemonade, and both were excellent. The waitress who served us was very friendly, and our food arrived in a timely manner. I had already taken a bite when I remembered to snap a photo of the meal. I would definitely come back here again!
Great service! The waitress is so nice and kind ! I had this caracol soup
