Contribuisci feedbackBeing under a mile away, I still didn’t receive two hot dogs for the hot dog special, and the soda and fries were disappointing as well. I've heard the owner is rude, and I can see why; I would be too if I ran a subpar food truck. I've even reached out to the employees and patients at Nicklaus Children's Hospital to advise them against ordering from here. The last thing anyone needs to worry about is an incomplete or overpriced order. They really need to improve.
I found this restaurant to be overpriced. I paid $17.70 for a dish that was mostly cheese and a small amount of chicken steak, with absolutely no corn, despite it being listed in the name of the dish. I've had similar meals at other food trucks that offered much more. There was no pineapple sauce or green sauce, while this meal was drowning in ketchup and had a mayo flavor that was bland. I cannot recommend this place, and unfortunately, I've already started to feel sick after eating this slop.
It opens at 7 PM, and honestly, I wouldn't mind waiting all day for it. This place is a true gem! I have nothing negative to say about this food truck or its location! My go-to order is the Pepito de Carne—wow, that sandwich is amazing! The meat is perfectly cooked, and the garlic aioli is just incredible. I can't talk about this place without getting excited! Their French fries are super crispy and fresh! I can also vouch for their cachapas; they're fantastic! Next on my list to try are the burgers and hot dogs, which I'm sure will be just as delicious! This is a spot you definitely don't want to miss!
After driving by Mi Pana Burger countless times, my husband and I decided to swing by to grab a bite to bring home last weekend. It's located within the parking lot of the Westar on Coral Way and Red Road. Open until 2:00 am on the weekends, it's a favorite for late night bites but hit the spot sober, as well! We ordered a pepito el pana with chicken, arepa reina pepiada, and Nutella tequeño. I'm by no means an expert in Venezuelan food but can say my pepito hit the spot. It was quite large, so lasted me two meals and was loaded with chicken, cheese, sauce, potato strings, and lettuce. My husband also enjoyed his arepa, while the tequeño was all that I could've hoped for and more. They're small though so definitely getting at least two of those next time! The food took about 25 minutes which was a little longer than we expected or hoped for. There weren't too many people here but definitely a steady flow, so things got backed up as the truck is tiny and they make everything fresh. The cutest little boy working the window softened the blow a little bit. All in all, I'm happy we satisfied our curiosity and finally stopped by to try. We both said we'd go back to try some different items, but maybe order ahead via Yelp next time.
If you're from Venezuela, you know that the best Venezuelan food is often in gas stations or a little stand on the side of the road, so for us, the whole food truck revolution was a no brainer This place makes great grilled meats, cachapas, empanadas and tequeños, nothing fancy but it's exactly what it needs to be when you need it to be. If I could give this place seven stars I would!
