We arrived in time for our reservation from 6:15 and had to wait 20 minutes to sit while several tables were empty; when she was mentioned to the hostess, was her answer not a problem with tables, but flowing kitchen problems????? Kellner's first show took another 20 minutes after sitting; Kellner/Bar got our drinks wrong. Placed order for food and 2 of us got our plates waiting for a bit, but the other 2 did not get our until 30 minutes later; from these, the award-winning meatballs were overcooked dry and the spaghetti alla chitarra was underwhelming, on the cold side and with air tasted by Chef Boyardeeeee. My wife had been there 4 nights earlier and they did not have several plates on the latest and last visit, they were from both Risotto dishes on the menu. For a place that has been open for a few months and on the expensive side salads begins at $22 and appetizers at $25 for portions on the small side, they have not yet their act together. Important management integration / change required. Not recommended.
Great attitude. disappointing experience. Our local family has visited this small beach park for over 60 years when the building has a hot dog stand with tasteful ice cream. The latest reincarnation is good for tourists who want to see a local water park, but the locals can be disappointed based on increased prices, reduced staff and reduced quality of previous incarnations. New owner has limited kitchen and wait staff capacity, but still presses in walk-ins, so reservations and walk-ins both are frustrated. This visit our dinner salad with shrimp came from the kitchen without dressing or otherwise. Good waiter was able to get the dressing from the kitchen after 15 minutes. Shrimp not fresh tasting according to local standards (remember high-end chain restaurant shrimp instead of locally available daily fresh frozen Key West Pinks as advertised and available throughout Miami. Charcuterie plate had 5 pre-ground (prepacked? Pieces of hard salami, equal 5 slices of spicy salami, 12 do not describe identical cheese cubes except dry bow left in several cubes, also fake olives; sold for $45. Fresh oysters were high quality. Good wine list.
Service was terrible, sat at the bar for over 20min to wait for our table, never visited at the bar for drinks, our waitress tried to give us the best service, but looked very overwhelmed, the food was ok nothing special
The food is not what it was earlier, it is overpriced considering the flavors are nothing new or something we could say it was amazing, it was just good. You could see how the staff runs through the tables and operation stuff (as six packs, fireplaces etc.) and the toilets were a mess, no garbage can, you could see paper on the floor and even a soap dispenser had fallen apart and lay on the floor. Definitely, not what it was earlier when it was Red Fish (only the place and the view remain fantastic)
Second visit to Noma Beach. The meatball appetizer was amazing as was the cauliflower. Our server Was attentive but not overbearing. I
