The cornbread is made just the way I like it, with a touch of sweetness, and it's fantastic. Don't miss the corn on the cob; it's a must-try!
My family of six visited this restaurant at around 6 PM on December 31st, and the place was empty and disorganized. There wasn’t a single employee to greet us or show us to a table; they were all busy eating ribs next to the cooks’ area, completely ignoring us. We ended up seating ourselves and waiting a long time for someone to take our order. When we finally ordered, it took an eternity for our food to arrive. The chicken fingers were greasy and nearly burnt, and everyone got cold fries. The sliced pork was dry, the salad was mediocre, the bread was soggy and cold, and the coleslaw was inedible. On a positive note, the baby back ribs were great, and the baked potatoes were massive. I've been eating at this restaurant for 70 years (back when it had a dirt floor and no screens), and it has generally been reliable. However, it seems that it struggles on holidays when people typically go out to enjoy a nice meal. I can't help but wonder if it has been sold recently or if it’s facing closure. By the way, do you know how much the land is worth?
The staff was exceptionally friendly, but I found the food to be somewhat disappointing, although the sauces were excellent. The key lime pie, however, was fantastic! I did notice several homeless individuals around the building and parking lot. We didn’t have any problems, but it was disheartening to see.
Food here is very tasty and delicious. Service is quick and their staff are kind. The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because the Restrooms are nasty, i have visited the place several times and same scenario. Gas station restrooms are sometimes cleaner. If you have kids it would be a challenge.
This restaurant has certainly seen better days. The steak was flavorless and tough, and the ribs were just average. They also forgot to bring our order of beans. The fries were terrible—completely inedible. The waitress made an effort but struggled to understand our drink order three times. To top it all off, the cook was rude and sarcastic as we were leaving. If you don't want to serve customers after 9 PM, then just close the kitchen. It's outrageous to serve such poor quality food and charge $66 for it. I won't be coming back! Absolutely disgusting.
