STK – Miami

No great experience! server was great, but they were underoccupied, no host for us big, so had to ask help from a bartender after waiting for over 10 minutes without confirmation. bar was from the first four items we demanded, bourbon and wein. how did they not have a bourbon or whiskey at the bar? manager never came to table to treat problems, room was dirty, bathroom were disgusting! Finally, the whole personal was inferior that they were to close, but not formally said so that the place was in shamble. never back. over $300 not well spent!

Our drinks were excellent and our server delivered us a good level of service without hovering. the meal was what they were expected from a high end steak house steaks to our lust, ie the right temperature and had great taste. the sides were good, not exceptional. overall a very good experience and I would get back to stk.

From the opening of the day to today, stk has completely downhill. we miss manny; when he managed the location, were quality and service on the stand. now it tastes like it reheated and pre-made. nothing tastes fresh and for the price it is certainly not worth. glassware is always a problem, dirty or stained. service is ok (depending on who they get) it is too bad because we were loyal customers.

We went to the stk on biscayne blvd. the food was good, but the service was terrible. it took a long time until we even got our appetizers and the restaurant had occupied only 6 tables. we were served only once water, had to ask for the dishes and bread for the table. it was my mother's birthday and therefore my siblings and I decided to take it there, I wrote it on our reservation and her birthday was not even recognized. it was disappointing.

Food was great but they didn’t have any jalapeño cheddar grits ready (which was what I came there for). Service was lack luster and it wasn’t even busy! The main entre was brought out before the salad. I was left waiting approx. 10 minutes waiting on a new cocktail. The server tried to make up for it by getting us shots. Unfortunately, in Miami they automatically charge a gratuity so the servers don’t have to work for their tip.
