I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at The Arketekt. The staff warmly greeted me upon entering and I had a lovely conversation with both the hostess and bartender. Despite the large group I was with, we were accommodated beautifully. The waiter's food recommendations were excellent and both the service and food were delicious and enjoyable. The restaurant is small, with seating for fewer than 75 diners, but it felt cozy and welcoming. Although we were the only patrons initially, the restaurant began to fill up around 9:30 pm. The price for food, drinks, and shared plates came to around $55 per person, which I found to be very reasonable considering the quality of the food and drinks. I would definitely return to The Arketekt and highly recommend it to others. 11/10!
We appreciated the atmosphere of the restaurant, but when we went for dinner on Saturday night at 8 PM, it was practically empty. There were only a few other customers in the restaurant, and we were hoping for a livelier vibe. The flatbread we tried seemed stale, like it had been sitting for a few days. However, the cocktails were enjoyable. I would recommend this place for a large group looking to start their evening with drinks.
Olives for appetizer were disappointing. Some had pits some not so, surprise! Cauliflower had a lot of flavor but was not served very hot. Service was horrible. And place in general.. are they a bar? A restaurant? I'm not sure.. but the large tables do not promote a relaxing, nice dinner. They encourage loud, happy hour patrons. Pick one or the other.
The service was excellent and the food was on point. They also have a nice happy hour!
