I didn’t want to share this publicly because I really do love you all and usually give you 5 stars, but I have to mention that the toast was quite small—only about the size of my palm. Given the price I paid and what I usually receive, I found it disappointing and overpriced. I hope this doesn't happen again.
The dish I received was not what I ordered; it was lavender-flavored and lacked filling.
What a charming little place! I tried the Dulce de Leche donut, which is a favorite around here. I’m usually particular about donuts and often not a huge fan, but this one was exactly to my liking! At $6.50 each, it’s definitely a special treat. My daughter chose the chocolate banana bread as a second option since they were out of coffee cake, and it turned out to be a nice thick slice—almost like one and a half or two slices when I cut it at home. It was also very tasty! The menu featured some sandwiches, but we didn't sample those this time. I would definitely consider returning when I'm in the area, but with so many options in Miami, I’m not sure I’ll go out of my way for a revisit.
As the title suggests, it tends to be on the more expensive side, but her chocolate cake is truly outstanding. I also enjoyed one of the best avocado toasts I’ve ever had.
