It’s been ages since I’ve had Southern cuisine this good. You truly can’t go wrong here. I'm excited to see they have locations throughout the state for when I'm nearer to home. I'm so glad I stopped by! We ordered the lemon butter chicken with loaded mashed potatoes and hush puppies, along with the fried catfish platter, and everything was amazing. Their menu features a fantastic variety, including an excellent selection of drinks. We will definitely be coming back, and we’ll be sure to bring friends!
**Food:** For our appetizers, we chose the boudin balls and hush puppies. Both were exceptional! The boudin balls packed a lot of flavor, and the hush puppies were the best I’ve ever had. For the main course, we enjoyed the Ribeye Po' Boy and the Voodoo shrimp and grits. The sandwich was tasty—the meat was rich in flavor, though the bread was a little crumbly. However, the shrimp and grits completely blew me away. They were, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever tasted in Miami, and the grits themselves were amazing. I will definitely be returning to sample more dishes from the menu!
If you're looking for a new place to eat, Walk-Ons is definitely worth checking out. Their menu features classic sports bar food with a delightful Louisiana twist! They also offer some unique items that I had never tried before, like the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. The service was outstanding; our server was both attentive and friendly. The numerous TVs throughout the restaurant showcased various games, contributing to a lively atmosphere. I only managed to take photos of the appetizers and the milkshake my kids ordered, both of which were delicious! Although I didn't capture pictures of the burgers we had (the Hangover and Tacos), they were equally amazing, along with my Hawaiian Pork. However, the real highlight that you absolutely must try is the Krispy Kreme bread pudding!
I just had my first experience at this restaurant, and I can't wait to go back! The location is lovely, and the food and drinks were exceptional. We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp and Alligator as appetizers, and both were fantastic. The Shrimp Po Boy was also incredibly tasty. Trying alligator for the first time exceeded my expectations—it was surprisingly delicious! The restaurant has a charming New Orleans-inspired ambiance, complete with plenty of TVs for sports viewing. Our waitress was very attentive and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Plus, the arcade added a fun twist to the sports bar atmosphere, which I really appreciated.
This sports bar is an excellent place to watch games or fights. I sampled the gumbo and grits, and while it was a bit thicker than what I'm used to, I have to admit I’m no expert on authentic Louisiana cuisine. It’s a great option for large groups or family gatherings!
