Blue Highway Pizza - Micanopy

There are no completely vegan options on the menu, but the staff are super willing to work with you to alter a meal to your liking. I feel like they get it, if you know what I mean. My favorite thing to order is the Tuscan Bean Piadine without the feta or parmesan. Once, I ordered a menu special as take out. I included a comment to leave off the cheese because I’m vegan. I received a friendly call a few minutes later because one of the other topping ingredients contained butter and honey. The extra time they took to clarify my order was very much appreciated. I give them five stars for service even if I can’t give them five stars for vegan food options.

We spent three weeks in Micanopy and were very happy to find Blue Highway Pizza. We loved that they have tempeh and vegan mozzarella as toppings, as well as many vegetables such as artichoke hearts, roasted vegetables, sun dried tomatoes and so many more. Staff is friendly and willing to help. We also love the atmosphere of the restaurant (nice decoration and rock music).

I would give them five stars for their exceptional service, even though their vegan food options are limited.
