Catherine Wheel - Mid Devon

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. It is the best pub food we have ever tasted. The chef even took the time to come out and chat with customers, which was a really nice touch. The owner is very funny and accommodating. This is definitely our favorite place in Devon.

The landlord at this restaurant was extremely rude. Simply getting takeout for lunch was apparently asking too much. It's baffling why someone like that would choose to work in the hospitality industry.

Probably the grumpiest landlord I've ever met. Shocking manners to strangers just passing thru. Oh well, he looks like he might retire soon, thankfully.

We had the Regular Sunday Carvery lunch. The food was beautifully cooked and plentiful. Very good service with just a short wait. Because of its popularity, you need to book on Sundays

Excellent meal and great service . Good value for money . Portion sizes are huge. Would recommend the fajitas
