Thorne's Farm Shop Cafe - Mid Devon

The breakfast at this restaurant is excellent, cooked to order and served piping hot. It's not greasy and there's plenty of it for a very reasonable price. The ingredients are great and I have been several times and will continue to do so. The staff are friendly, pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic breakfast. Tasty sausages, bread and bacon and bacon lovely and crispy. Staff friendly. Good choice of food and clean toilets.

I have visited this cafe a few times, but I will not be returning. The cleanliness of the cafe has declined, with lots of flies and dirty tables. The tables were so sticky that our arms stuck to them. I had to wait a long time for my cheese sandwich, and the woman with tattoos informed us that she would not be cooking anymore that day due to fatigue, despite it only being a quarter to two and us being the only customers. The staff lacked proper hygiene and customer service training, and we had to wait for them to finish gossiping loudly before we could place our order. Their attitude towards us was rude and indifferent. Overall, the food was mediocre and the staff were subpar in a less than clean environment. We will be dining elsewhere in the future.

The breakfast at this restaurant is simply delightful, featuring high-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, with excellent prices to match. They also have a charming little farm shop worth checking out.

I’ve been a few times to the cafe at Thorne’s Farm Shop and it’s always been great. It’s spacious and there is a well equipped play area tucked around the corner so you actually have chance to chat to mum friends and drink a bit of coffee while it’s still hot!! The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The coffee and cakes are excellent. I hear the breakfasts are very good too!
