White Horse Inn - Mid Devon

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, local patrons, and the pub dog Booboo. The owner informed us it may take a bit longer for our food to arrive since he was the only one working, but we found the service to be perfectly fine. The pub offered a great selection of ales and ciders. As we chatted with the regulars and owner, and played with Booboo, we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. The flavors were amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. We left wishing we had discovered this restaurant earlier in our trip.

I have dined at this restaurant numerous times and the food is always delicious. Bob, the owner, is very friendly. The Sunday lunch is amazing, with generous portions of food. The only downside is that you might need a nap after enjoying your meal.

The best Sunday roast by far. We've eaten here a few times and have always been impressed with the quality of the food, the beers and the friendly welcome of both the landlord, staff and locals. Dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

The food was excellent, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. We w joyed the food so much we even booked several other nights if our holiday a must place to go if you visit Bampton. Do not ge put off by the pub. The food is nothing less than excellent! 5 star food !

We popped in for a late evening drink, place was bustling with young locals . Owner and clientele made us feel welcome and were friendly, we didn’t try the food but the pizzas looked good. A traditional no thrills pub that will serve a good drink and a bite to eat in a good atmosphere
