For breakfast we couldn't manage the amazing breakfast, so again we requested a plate of fresh fruit, along with cereal tea toast honey and orange juice. It was delicious We will definitely be back
Lovely pub and great food! Me and my partner were staying locally for a break away. We had this pub suggested to us and It didn’t disappoint! We brought our dog with us and he was treated like a VIP. The food was perfect and came out to us quickly. Staff were very kind and friendly. Tracey the owner gave me a birthday card for my 30th which was a lovely touch. Will be coming back if we are in the area again.
Had Sunday lunch today. Staff were very over the top. They came to our table 7 times and we were only there for 40 mins . Asked how much meat we got with medium plate roast and got told 4 slices. Priced at £16.99. I only had 2 slices and my husband had 3 . Prehaps abit more communication is needed between staff and kitchen on that one hey!! Not value for money in our opinion.. A lady came and took our plates and my husband still had food in his mouth. She even commented on the fact..then chucked the dessert menus down.. what was the rush!! Needless to say we didn’t have a dessert. Got the bill and they charged us £3.30 for a very small bottle 200ml of Diet Coke. Outrageous prices. We will not be returning!!!
We went here for our anniversary had the best lamb shank meals ever, followed by delicious lemon crunch chocolate fudge cake. Tracey was welcoming friendly looked after us really well. Our two dogs got treated like VIP’s Tracey even gave us a anniversary card We will definitely be returning.
This was the most disappointed I have felt with a meal for a very long time. A lovely location, friendly and welcoming staff; everything looked set for a very good experience. Unfortunately my order of Steak and Ale Pie was not what I was expecting. The pie itself was around the size of a Greggs sausage roll and made me wonder whether I had been given a kids portion. Absolutely gutted and unfortunately as a result I won't be in a hurry to return.
