Taylors Fish - Mid Sussex

Without any doubt, Taylors is the best chippy in the area. I actually live out of town near one of the posher' chippies that lots of people rave about .... I don't know what's wrong with them, the other one may be a bit fancier but their chips are terrible ... Taylors is a no frills chippy, same family been running it for decades and they themselves work in there (not run by kids that dont know or care what they are serving). THE. BEST. CHIPS. HANDS. DOWN. I drive out of my way, past other chippies to get to Taylors ... my Kids only ever want Taylors as well!

Over priced under sized and uncooked raw chips for 4.25 for a large and was smaller then a medium ripoff ,new owners have ruined this place

Possibly best chips I have ever had. Fish very good too. Only complaint is that if go after 8pm, menu can be restricted. Otherwise absolutely excellent.

Terrible since the new owners took over. Food is plain and tough. Overcooked and dry. It now costs loads more. Used to be great and is now rubbish. Avoid and don't go to one of the two Harbours because they're the same owner and cook food in the same way!

This was our first visit since new owners took over........ Fabulous fish and chips. Fresh and very well prepared. Really great homemade Tatare Sauce. Friendly service. Welcome to Taylors!!!!!
