Yesterday, Friday 18th August, we trotted on over and ordered food for the first time. I had the cheese burger and fries while my wife had the mushroom butter masala. The food was amazing. The burger was fat and juicy, just how I like it, and far superior to burgers in other pubs locally. In testament to how good my wife's curry was, she finished the huge bowlful. We will definitely be going back again. The service was fantastic. The food is reasonably priced, too. A proper find and just across the road, who'd have thought?
Nice pub, great new menu, would have preferred 5 wings instead of 3, they were delicious though......
I am local and haven't been in the Watermill pub for years. I didn't know that they did food. Went for lunch with a friend today. Nice atmosphere but this was weekday lunchtime. I assume in the evening it would be much more lively as very much a sports pub? Have redecorated inside. Polite publican. Compliments to the chef though! Chicken korma was delicious. Fantastic presentation of food. Had apple pie and custard for dessert which was lovely! Will definitely go there again with my family.
Stopped off here after racing at Plumpton, quite quiet but friendly welcome. Godd selection of beers reasonably priced. Barman put racing on tv and regulars keen to chat, all in all very positive experience. Will definitely call again.
I am a local but haven't been in the Watermill since it was renovated! Haven't been out for 7 months due to Covid!! Staff friendly. Nice atmosphere. Lovely beer garden. Prices a little expensive but overall a nice night relaxed evening!
