Hazards - Middle Bass

The restaurant has great food at a reasonable price in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was top-notch and the overall vibe was enjoyable. I would definitely return frequently.

William and Ryan, our Air BNB hosts, were terrible and dishonest. We booked a villa 15 but upon arrival, we discovered that they had placed us in villa 11 instead. These were not villas at all, but trailers in a rundown trailer park with a subpar pool and bar. William originally claimed that villa 15 was under construction, but later admitted that it had been sold. This led to confusion and frustration during our stay in villa 11. Locals informed us that this had happened to others before, so please beware of this deceptive practice.

Our stay at Cabin 1 in St. Hazards was disappointing. The accommodations were basic, with non-functional lights and a dirty porch. We were promised a fire pit but had to take one from another site. The bathrooms were consistently dirty and clogged, even at the restaurant and pool. The bath trailer was unsanitary and unpleasant to use. Despite the pool needing updating, the music and drinks were enjoyable. However, the overall cleanliness of the resort was a major concern. We do not recommend staying here and suggest spending extra for a better experience in Put In Bay.

Sorry but I love this place. The villas are where it's at. Says you can sleep 6 but we have crammed 8-10 people before. We rent them for $500 a weekend and it's worth it. Bring your cooler and drinks and head on up. The pool is solid and the bar/restaurant is as well. The villas have AC and stove, fridge and microwave. Villa 5 has a huge deck and grill. Bring your own towels and linen and you are set. Sometimes we don't even make it over to PIB. Middle Bass more for locals and not near as rowdy. Good weekend getaway

I would strongly advise against visiting this resort! Each time I have visited, the quality has declined. The service is terrible, with many employees seemingly under the influence of drugs. The cabins and chalets are dirty, and some even have dangerous bathrooms with floors falling through. On a holiday weekend when my group rented 6 cabins, we were told that a person could not set up a tent in the yard, despite paying for the camping space. However, upon arrival, we found many other campers in tents right outside our cabins. The pool water is murky green, filled with drunken adults playing volleyball to the point where children cannot safely swim. We also experienced being hit by the volleyball multiple times. The last straw was when the owner posted photos of my child on Facebook, publicly shaming parents for allegedly leaving children unattended in the hot tub during the day. Even though my child was supervised, the owner refused to remove the photo or respect our privacy concerns. Overall, this resort is a disaster. Save your money and avoid coming here if you value your child's privacy.
