Middle Village Wines Liquors, Inc.

This is a wonderful local liquor store with an extensive selection. While the prices are a bit higher than at the Value Wine Chain Store, the variety is impressive. High-end wines are somewhat pricier than those at other stores, but they are available here, whereas many other places often run out. We also enjoyed a fantastic conversation with the shop owner, who is very knowledgeable about whisky and wine. It's great that they offer sample bottles for whisky, allowing you to know exactly what you're purchasing before you buy it. I enjoy stopping by here from time to time to pick up bottles.

I encountered racist behavior from the staff at this establishment. They seemed indifferent and lacked concern about the situation. If you’re looking to be stereotyped, this may be the place for you, but it’s certainly not for me.

After confirming the order, my fiancé had to call Uber Eats herself because the restaurant wouldn’t release the food to her, even though it was confirmed. She felt it was unfair to be punished for something beyond her control. She ended up canceling the order and left a review explaining what happened. Now, the owner of the restaurant is claiming that they’ve seen her before and that she was the one who took the alcohol, which is troubling. It seems that the owner may have a bias, implying that he thinks all people of color look alike. I have evidence to support my fiancé's side of the story, including photos that show her with a top-tier Uber Eats delivery account and a 98% satisfaction rate, earning over $40 an hour. I've also included photos of two complete rides that she took, indicating that she was unable to deliver an order but was still compensated for her services.

Great selection and good hospitality. the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.

It's convenient. If they don't have what I want, which happens, I can usually find something else.
