Everything else was seasoned and cooked for perfection. My dinner guests were very happy with their orders. The place is very clean and the staff was super nice.
We had the buffet here at our recent visit to the area. Was disappointing that the only other meat offered beside the chicken was meatballs. Although they offer both fried and baked chicken. Was a good choice of food, but wasn't almost as good as other Amish restaurants we were? ve had in Indiana for the same price of $17. Sweet gift shop though and bought a few gifts for our children.
Get yourself there early if you want any buffet items. We came to breakfast two hours later and the food was cold and eggs were gummy. I recommend the order from the menu. The pot roast with engraving and potato pulp was excellent! We enjoyed shopping in their little business. The baked goods were delicious.
It is a wonderful place to visit...between the wonderful food in the restaurant and the abundance of fresh cakes, bread, pastries, jams and much more.... It is a nice place to visit. I will definitely visit again. I came home with an apple cake, strawberry rhubarbcake and a custard cake. They also make a peanut butter that is just amazing.
Had the buffet this time when we went. Salad, chicken, mac cheese, creamed corn, meatballs, more salad, dressing. Almost forgot, had banana cream pie for dessert. People were friendly and the place was clean.
