When we went there was no social distancing, some of the servers weren't wearing masks, besides a low-ish number of patrons on a Friday night it was almost like covid didn't exist. I do like the plastic partitions they put up at the bar.
Larger bar with a community feel to it. Met some great locals here while passing through the city. Friendly service, competitive pool sharks and dart players to boot.
They serve alcoholic beverages and in great quantity, great news! Visited twice now, and pretty sure my tab was larger than it should have been both times, but giving them the benefit of the doubt because....well...alcohol.... Third try, I'll make an effort to keep track of what's ordered/drank via an alcohol pyramid....aka we stack and gather empties so my simple self can do math (Spoiler....folks there are great, cant wait to go back)
The decor was cool. I searched google for a dive bar near me and this place was came up. This is a college bar, not a dive bar. Bartender was nice enough when she wasn 't chatting up the regulars. Most of my service came from the cook surprisingly enough. Ordered wings to go. They 're breaded... No mention by the menu or staff. My only meal for the day was a spicy, slimy mess. Make sure you want to hear non-stop hip-hop if you decide this one.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for dancing and socializing. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and I especially appreciated the open bar layout. The restroom was kept clean and the crowd was enthusiastic about dancing. There is no cover charge, and live entertainment is provided on Friday and Saturday nights.
