Blue Plate Diner - Middletown

Have been a few times and every time has been enjoyable. The food is always delicious and the staff is very pleasant.

EDIT ON 8/17/24 Just amazing! Becoming our favorife place to eat when we visit Newport! The portions are huge, homemade meals, excellent service, nice vintage vibe and GREAT prices! Also, very spacious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The food and service were excellent! Also, it has a very nice vibe of 1960s American restaurant. We loved it and definitely will be back! Our waitress and all personal was lovely and very professional! Highly recommended!

Stopped in for breakfast and was greeted by multiple wait staff who seemed excited and happy to be there. The food was great, especially the Nutella French toast. Our waiter Will B. was incredibly polite and attentive. Can’t wait to visit again.

Great service and delicious food! Corned beef hash was shredded meat, toasty and cooked perfectly! The host was friendly and I saw him clearing some plates for a table and getting water for guests while the waitress was busy. It seems like everyone who works here is friendly and has great work ethic. We left our minivan door open and one of the staff let us know. Thank you! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The place was clean and spacious; not stuffy at all. I highly recommend!
