Excellent service! The staff member was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations on cooking times and temperatures. The cakes were perfect—no fillers at all!

Additionally, I tried two lobster cakes. While the small amount of lobster present was acceptable, the majority of the filling was subpar—mushy and dense, and it tasted like the same imperial sauce used on the shrimp. Overall, I won’t be wasting my money on these disappointing dishes again.

Capt’n Chucky’s is incredible! The owners are attentive, friendly, and passionate about what they do. The food is absolutely delicious! It’s tough to pick a favorite—between their crab cakes, shrimp salad, and scallops, you can’t go wrong! Just writing this review is making me hungry! Although I don’t live in Delaware, I was in town visiting friends when I had the opportunity to stop by on the way to the beach. I’m eagerly looking forward to my next visit just to savor some of their delectable seafood!

THIS PLACE is a hidden treasure!!! Super friendly and patient employees, as I wasn’t sure what to get, but they’re super helpful and did not disappoint!! I’m hooked! I have also visited Wayne's other store in PA; GREAT crab cakes!! You won’t regret giving them a go! This place will be a regular “must stop at” when visiting again!!! I’m already looking forward to trying their lobster Mac cheese!! But definitely getting more crab cakes!!!
